Role: Automation Tester
Location: Mumbai, Chennai
Job Description
Must Have:
•Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in software testing
•Strong Java knowledge, ability to write code/functions for complex test scenarios, integration points and supporting multiple technologies(legacy and digital)
•Working knowledge of automation scripting with the ability to code and debug scripts
•Working experience with test UI automation tools such as Selenium, and an understanding of coding structure and best practices
•Experience with automated API tests for RESTful applications using RestAssured or equivalent, knowing the Restful concepts and automation practices
•Experience with testing frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit)
•Knowledge and working experience on creating/enhancing Automation frameworks.
•Strong communication and analytical skills
•Ability to work in a behavior driven development model (BDD)
•Proficient with at least one of the following types of databases – Relational or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, MongoDB)
•Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
•Experience programming with object-oriented programming.
•Solid understanding of software testing practices.
•Should be able to solve logical problems using Java
Nice To Have
Working experience in Integrating automation tests with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools
Strong agile background – Sprint ceremonies, scrum
Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira or HP Application LifeCycle Management
