We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Python Automation, Playwright, API Testing, JMeter, and Selenium. This role is designed for professionals who can validate complex data pipelines, automate ETL workflows, and ensure application quality, scalability, and reliability across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on experience in data testing, automation frameworks, and performance testing, while also demonstrating strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills.

Senior QA Engineer –

ETL & Data Testing

• Validate data between source and target systems such as DB2, Oracle, and MySQL.
• Perform data reconciliation, completeness checks, and transformation validation.
• Write complex SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Test ETL pipelines across multiple layers (Landing → Raw → Derived → Mart).
• Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Automation Testing (Python)

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Python.
• Automate ETL validation including schema checks, data comparisons, and record counts.
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Generate test execution reports and dashboards for stakeholders.

UI Testing (Playwright)

• Design and execute UI automation scripts using Python + Playwright.
• Validate dashboards and web portals, including Tableau reports.
• Handle dynamic elements, filters, and UI validations.
• Perform cross‑browser testing to ensure consistent user experience.

API Testing

• Test REST APIs using Postman, Python requests, or REST Assured.
• Validate API responses, schema, and data consistency.
• Automate API test cases and integrate them with frameworks.
• Perform negative and edge case testing to ensure robustness.

Performance Testing (JMeter)

• Design and execute performance test plans using Apache JMeter.
• Conduct load, stress, and scalability testing.
• Analyze performance metrics such as throughput, response time, and error rate.
• Identify bottlenecks and provide optimization suggestions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in ETL Testing & Data Warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright for UI automation.
• Strong SQL skills including joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Experience in API testing and automation.
• Expertise in Apache JMeter for performance testing.
• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git.

Good to Have

• Experience in cloud‑based ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of data migration testing.
• Exposure to Tableau or BI dashboard validation.
• Participation in Agile/Scrum methodology.
