About the Role

We are looking for hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Tagging & Tracking) to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of digital tracking solutions across web and mobile platforms. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Firebase Analytics, Google Analytics GA4, Azure AWS Data Engineering, and technical SEO.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate data collection, validation, and governance while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable analytics solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to high‑impact projects that drive business insights and digital performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Tagging & Tracking Solutions → Design, implement, and maintain end‑to‑end tagging and tracking for web and mobile applications.
• Firebase & GA4 Implementation → Configure and manage event tracking using Firebase and Google Analytics 4.
• Data Pipelines → Develop scalable pipelines for analytics and reporting.
• Cloud Integration → Integrate tracking data with Microsoft Azure and AWS services.
• Data Governance → Ensure accurate collection, validation, and compliance with privacy standards.
• Cross‑Team Collaboration → Partner with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and BI teams to define tracking requirements.
• Troubleshooting → Identify and resolve tracking issues, optimizing analytics implementation.
• Technical SEO → Support structured data, crawl optimization, and performance metrics.
• Documentation → Create standards for tagging architecture, event taxonomy, and implementation guidelines.

Required Skills

• 6+ years in Data Engineering with expertise in Tagging & Tracking.
• Hands‑on with Firebase Analytics and GA4.
• Certified in Firebase, Google Analytics, Microsoft Azure, AWS.
• Strong JavaScript skills for analytics tagging.
• Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) or similar platforms.
• Strong SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Knowledge of event taxonomy and digital analytics architecture.
• Experience integrating analytics with Azure and AWS services.
• Strong technical SEO background including structured data and crawl optimization.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and analytics integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with web performance monitoring tools.
• Exposure to data migration testing.
• Familiarity with BI dashboards validation.
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
