We are hiring a Lead Specialist – SSM to manage Direct Insurance processes including reinsurance placement, claims cycle, and end‑to‑end client servicing per IRDAI guidelines. This role requires strong knowledge of the insurance policy lifecycle, new business/renewals, mid‑term adjustments, and claims collection.
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft and finalize proposals, terms, and market presentations.
- Request quotes, create RFQs, and prepare quote comparisons.
- Handle invoicing, cover notes, binding instructions, and policy chasing.
- Book business transactions accurately in the system.
- Generate closing statements for premium collection.
- Identify, book, and settle claims with proper documentation.
- Coordinate closely with cedents and underwriters for smooth processing.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical proficiency in insurance business services.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ownership, accountability, and interpersonal skills.
- Insurance domain knowledge with client/insurer office visit experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any specialization.
- Insurance certification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 8–10+ years of experience in insurance domain quality analysis.
